why the flowers?

I grew up with beautiful, colorful, flower pins around our white window curtains in the living room. There were flower pins on the dresser to wear dancing on Saturday nights. There were flower pins in boxes just as beautiful and colorful as they were. They were hers, and now they are her memory, and her spirit, and her beautiful, colorful love. Now they are mine, and I wear them everyday.

This blog is about them. And about everything else.
